Performing both traditional and original songs, she sings while accompanying herself on one of her six autoharps, or joyfully jams with other artists on her pennywhistles. She has been described as songwriter in the old style, and audiences often can’t tell the origin of a given tune. Her CDs cover a spectrum from original to traditional, mystical to educational. Hekate’s Torch

Hekate’s Torch

Once upon a time, in the middle of the torrid Amazonian jungle, lived a red-haired witch who started singing at the age of 5. Having lived as a Mermaid in a past life, her most precious gift was her voice. She loved her land and her people but many times she had visions of herself living in a snowy land, surrounded by mountains and in the companion of her true love.
Her voice brought her prestige and prizes, and her other talents, song writing and acting, completed the package. But she still dreamed of snow and a true, magickal love.
On a beautiful full moon night, her Mother Hekate, the Queen of Witches, told her to go to Canada. Meanwhile, in the land of the freezing tundra, lived a wizard, poet and musician, who had lived as a Dragon in a past life. His prolific career as a poet and otherworldly experiences as a craft practitioner, were completed by his skills as a guitarist. But he, as our Amazonian girl, also dreamed of finding his true, eternal love. Arriving in Canada, our witch-mermaid creates a public event to celebrate her Goddess, and guess who showed up? Yes! Our wizard-dragon!
United by the Goddess, Hekate’s Torch features Robert Johnson, Vocals, Song writing and Guitar;
Femi Heqet aka Mohana, Vocals, Melody and Song writing; Tadeu Vieira – Multi-instrumentalist; Guilherme Lonskis – Guitar; And Ebony Heqet-Johnson, The Meowstro. May Her Torch Be With You!

Louis Garou

Lou Garou is an Appalachian Land Steward and musician. He has a relationship with what he calls the “Little People.” In his own words:

Louis Garou

“When I bought the farm, I made a promise to the Little People,” he said. “There would be no trees cut in this area. No hunting. No domestic animals. I have kept that promise for almost forty years now. Moreover, the only thing I do there is to sit and watch nature, write, play my guitar, and yes, dream.”

He has indeed kept that promise.   Music is his passion and his first love. He has been in witchcraft since he was 16 years old, and his music shows a depth of personal understanding of his relationship with every aspect of his life.

His music is heartfelt yet simple. It weaves his magic around you, and you see where his inspiration comes from and how he lives in harmony with all around him.

Two of Garou’s newest songs, “Magick All Around Us,” and “Rise Up Lilith,” are great examples of Lou’s integration of faith, practice, and music.

He is unique and a great addition to the artists of the IPMA.

Sencha Skene

I first began writing songs at the age of 11 in 1971. In 1974 I got my first guitar and learned to play. My early influences were folk rockers like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Dan Fogelberg. My rock influences were prog rock bands like Yes, Pink Floyd, and the Alan Parsons Project. My writing style is eclectic. You might hear a heavy metal song followed by a folksy ballad. I tend to write about my own personal experiences on the Pagan path while trying to keep it general enough to be somewhat universal. I released my first album in 2016 and have been releasing about one a year ever since. If you’d like to join me on my musical journey, I welcome you with open arms!
