Glad to know you are enjoying the journey!
I agree! The tradeoff we went through moving from the middle of nowhere in the Appalachians to downtown Tacoma, WA is the fact that there are so many nature trails around here for meditative walking.
Yes, I find that switching from thinking to sensing helps…by paying attention to the information my senses are giving me I’m better able to focus on the energy.
When we lived in the Carolinas, we were literally in the middle of nowhere…nearest convenience store was 8 miles away. Now we’re in downtown Tacoma. Fortunately, here on the West Coast city planners take pains to make room for nature.
Point Defiance is less than a half hour away, and the park there is the second largest in the United States…second only to Central Park in NYC.
That’s where I go now to get my sanity breaks. 🙂We moved to Tacoma from South Carolina three years ago. Here in our blue state, there are bicycle lanes, public transportation, and walking lanes in a majority of places. Even many rural areas have public transportation.
It just shows what can be done when there’s a will.Yes, when I conduct a rite or ritual I always include a call for peace. Part of our intention-setting. 😉
Yes, systems such as this are simply mirrors that allow us to gaze into our own unconscious minds. Glad you found it useful!
Glad you liked it! It’s my own interpretation based on the names of the places, and not necessarily anything of traditional or historical precedent.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog…may his passage be a safe one.
I’ve found that it often helps to eat the egg as well after the meditation. We moved in the middle of the pandemic. Just started getting to know folks here in Tacoma.
Good luck with South Carolina! We finally left and moved to the West Coast because of the amount of oppression the Pagan community suffered there. That, and the fact that there were many white supremacists even in the Pagan community there.
Hopefully you can be a light for them.I like how Vine has different characteristics depending on location. So for example, in Ireland it’s grape, but in Scotland it’s blackberry. Pretty much sums up the difference between the Irish and the Scots. 😛
One of my favorites when I’m stressed out and need to take a break.
My wife and I bought our own water bottles several years ago…made from recyclable materials. Saves us money and is good for the planet.
