Blodeuwedd, pronounced “Blood-EYE-with,” is the Welsh Goddess of Beauty. Her name means “Flower Face.” In the Mabinogion, she is created from oak, broom and meadowsweet to be Llew Law Gyffes’ wife. She is later transformed into an owl by Gwydion after she falls in love with Gronw and conspires to murder Llew. She is the Goddess of lost loves and betrayal. The owl is her sacred bird, and oak, broom and meadowsweet are her sacred herbs.

Invoke Blodeuwedd in matters of betrayal and jealousy. If she has come into your life, her beauty can be seductive, but beware of her treachery.
