Beag, pronounced “BEG,” is a Goddess Protector of wells. Her name means “small,” and it is believed that her powers were so minute that she was not able to protect large bodies of water like rivers and lakes, and was only able to watch over wells. She is one of the Tuatha Dé Danann, or the Faery People.

Beag’s sacred plant is the heather, and the dragonfly is her ally.
